Accountant – Bank reconciliation

Summary:

The candidate is responsible for making sure all the bank accounts are reconciled and up-to date. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial accounting / reporting, as well as experience with Bank Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable, Payable, treasury and should also have good knowledge on ERP System.

Responsibilities:

• Review all Bank statements on a daily basis.
• Credit Advices to be provided to Accounts Receivable Team on a daily basis.
• Debit Advices to be printed and provided to Accounts Payable Team.
• Liaising with Banks if any further clarification is required.
• Understand the nature of transactions and type especially MT103/Swift/Loan Types/K-net etc.
• Bank Charges to be accounted.
• Bank Reconciliation to be done soon after the monthly closing date.
• Bank Reconciliation report to be reviewed to take necessary action on unreconciled items with respective team members.
• Transfer between bank accounts to be posted before closing period.
• Working on automation aspects as per management’s vision
• Following the company’s policy and procedure manual.
